SBS MANAGING DIRECTOR

Labor congratulates James Taylor on his appointment as Managing Director of the Special Broadcasting Service (SBS).

Mr Taylor is an experienced media and communications executive who provides continuity in leadership at SBS, having served at the broadcaster for over six years, including as Chief Finance Officer and Acting Managing Director.

 

Mr Taylor has a deep understanding of SBS and has been a driving force behind its transformation into a modern, innovative and efficient multiplatform broadcaster in accordance with its purpose.

 

As recent events attest, the importance of a distinct multicultural broadcaster to promote social inclusion and cohesion in our nation is as critical as ever.
