MORRISON GOVERNMENT THROWS UP HANDS ON HORRIFIC MOUSE PLAGUE
Julie Collins MP
Estimates has revealed the Morrison Government has no plan for a national response to the horrific mouse plague impacting multiple states and costing farmers millions.

This is yet another stunning failure of leadership from Scott Morrison when farmers are crying out for help.

Is there anything that the Morrison Government does take responsibility for?

Estimates heard the Morrison Government will finally convene a meeting of Agriculture Ministers next week. The costly mouse plague must be at the top of the agenda.

It’s time for Minister Littleproud to show some leadership and help farmers facing the horrific plague.

Minister Littleproud has been the first person to criticise states again and again this year, but when he could finally be constructive he’s sitting on his hands.

Minister Littleproud and the Nationals are more interested in shameless politicking than showing leadership for Australian farmers.

Farmers have been crying out for more support and it’s about time the Morrison Government did something.

The Morrison Government should stop passing the buck and start working with the states and territories to fix the shocking mouse plague.
