WSA Co’s newly appointed CEO to bring wealth of industry experience

Graham Millett has been appointed as the Chief Executive Officer of WSA Co, the Government-owned company building Western Sydney Airport.
 
Having grown up in Western Sydney, Mr Millett brings both local knowledge and more than 20 years’ experience managing complex operations across the aviation and infrastructure sectors in senior executive roles in Australia, the United States, Europe and Asia.
 
Mr Millett has been part of WSA Co’s management team as the Executive General Manager, Aviation Infrastructure, since September 2017 and has been instrumental in helping WSA Co act swiftly to engage the best private sector expertise to build the airport.
 
WSA Co stands to benefit from Mr Millett’s recent senior management experience in the aviation and engineering sectors. Leading the Property and Procurement Divisions at Qantas for almost nine years as
Qantas Group General Manager, Mr Millett was responsible for delivering the airline’s Domestic Terminal Redevelopment projects at Sydney (Kingsford Smith) and Melbourne airports, as well as having accountability for fleet procurement.
 
Mr Millett is also currently a Director on the Board of St George Community Housing, and has previously been a member of the Advisory Panel of the Board of Airline Representatives Australia and Chairman of the International Air Transport Association’s Australian Airports Consultative Committee.
 
As the CEO of WSA Co, Mr Millett will lead the company as it undertakes the significant task of building Western Sydney Airport. The first flights will take off from the airport in 2026.
