If Scott Morrison thinks Queenslanders have forgotten about the cuts and the chaos he’s inflicted on our state, he’s even more out of touch than we feared.

- Cutting $160 million from Queensland’s hospitals;
- Ripping $458 million from Queensland’s public schools;
- Removing access to penalty rates on Sundays for 367,856 retail and hospitality workers in Queensland;
- The loss of 31,373 apprentice positions in Queensland since the Coalition came to power; and
- Leaving more than 60,000 Queensland pensioners worse off due to LNP cuts.
No amount of political stunts, scare campaigns, speeches or cobbled-together announcements in an election year can make up for the damage he’s inflicted on Queenslanders over the past five years.
Queenslanders can spot a phony and know Scott Morrison always sides with the top end of town at their expense.
People are listening for any sign the PM is in touch with their lives and all they hear is a Government running a protection racket for banks and defending tax loopholes for the top end of town.
This is Tony Abbott’s economic plan all over again – we all know how that ended – brutal cuts to schools, hospitals and Medicare.
The Liberals are so desperately divided and dysfunctional, they can’t even manage to run a scare campaign properly.
After splashing a scare campaign about a recession across the nation’s papers, Scott Morrison couldn’t make up his mind this morning:
KOCHIE: You are scare mongering though aren't you when you say that Australia will go into recession if Labor is elected?
MORRISON: Well, I didn't say that.

Morrison is from another planet if he thinks the economy is delivering for ordinary workers and families in Queensland and across the country.
The economy on the Liberals’ watch is defined by stagnant wages, falling confidence, high household debt, low household savings, slowing growth, and high underemployment.
Under the Liberals, net debt has doubled in rosy global economic conditions and gross debt has crashed through half-a-trillion dollars for the first time ever in the nation’s history and is still rising.
Morrison and Co are too divided and dysfunctional to provide the economic leadership the nation needs.
Ordinary people in Queensland and across the country are crying out for stable and united government focused on them and their interests, which only Labor can provide.
