Commissioner submits final report to Governor-General

The Commissioner, the Honourable Kenneth Madison Hayne AC QC, today submitted his final report to the Governor-General, His Excellency General the Honourable Sir Peter Cosgrove AK MC (Retd).

The Commissioner's final report addresses matters outlined in the Letters Patent dated 14 December 2017.

The submission of the report brings to an end an extensive inquiry. Over the course of its work, the Commission reviewed over 10,000 submissions from the Australian public, completed 69 days of public hearings and considered thousands of documents provided by entities, regulators and consumer advocacy groups.

The final report will be publically available on the Royal Commission's website once the report has been tabled in the Parliament.
