REAPPOINTMENT OF INDEPENDENT PARLIAMENTARY EXPENSES AUTHORITY CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER
SENATOR THE HON. MATHIAS CORMANN
The Government has reappointed Ms Annwyn Godwin as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Independent Parliamentary Expenses Authority (IPEA) for a further five years.

Ms Godwin commenced as IPEA’s inaugural CEO on 1 January 2018.

Under her leadership, IPEA has continued to ensure that Parliamentarians’ work expenses represent an ethical, prudent and cost effective use of public resources.

Ms Godwin’s reappointment will ensure continued organisational stability for IPEA over the period to the end of 2024 as it strengthens the public confidence in the parliamentary expenses system.

Ms Godwin’s second term will begin on 1 January 2020.
