Millions of Australians are locked down and the Prime Minister is still misleading the country.
After a morning media blitz by the Prime Minister, Pfizer put out a statement pointing out there is nothing new in the Prime Minister’s so-called announcement:
"The total number of 40 million doses we are contracted to deliver to Australia over 2021 has not changed.
"While the details of our agreement with the Government are confidential, we can confirm that deliveries to Australia remain on track, and continue to progress in line with our weekly delivery schedule.”
This is the Prime Minister who said the vaccine rollout wasn’t a race and he said we were at the front of the queue to access vaccines.
It is a race to get Australians vaccinated and we weren’t at the front of the queue.
We are five months into the vaccine rollout and fewer than 8 per cent of Australians are fully vaccinated because of this Prime Minister’s stubborn incompetence.
When the Prime Minister is not in hiding he pops his head up to mislead the Australian people.
It’s time the Prime Minister did his job and took responsibility for his bungled vaccine rollout – and fixed it.
